I’m in my seasoned years After searching for the truth of who my father was because at the age of 15 she had me believing the Man U grew up with was my father until last year My mother told my Youngest Adult daughter 29 yr old that the man I called Dad (Robert) wasn’t my father. I was planning a trip home to visit from all the pandemic “stuff” to finally see my mom despite our Rocky relationship from the time I was six and how she mishandled me and I never understood why, however, when I was told over the phone that the man that raised me was not my father and here I am on my way home devastated me so much it was hard for me me to even go home for that visit. My daughter was the one who stepped in and asked my mother to finally tell me the truth after all these years I had been asking my mother. However my daughter who wasn’t even born was placed in the situation I was even more deceived and devastated until I heard my mothers half story that I had to accept because she really wasn’t telling me the whole story so I got what I got and moved on and ran into or should I say the Lord lead me to The Kirk Franklin story of his childhood and it brought me so much liberation, even still in the healing process. I have forgiven my mother we talk all the time on the Phone it’s been challenging yet I try my best with God’s help and the Holy Spirit to look beyond because she did remarry and he too was a wonderful Godly Man! He’s in heaven but I got blessed with two Dad’s. Now I enjoy my 3 beautiful grand-babies that also have helped me to heal by loving and receiving their love 🥰 Salute 🫡 Kirk Franklin and God Bless You and Your Family
